God has placed Christian Outreach Church and Christian Outreach School twenty minutes south of the St. Louis outerbelt near Hillsboro, Missouri, to serve Him, our world, our community, and one another. He has blessed us with a strong commitment to the Bible as well as a congregational life that helps us stay close to Jesus.

God is leading His Church in this hour to release signs, wonders, deliverances, and healings. We approach these things with great joy as the Lord's miracles are increasing in number and power among us. We also live in fear and trembling, lest we lose our balance and try to substitute miracles for the holiness that accompanies true faith in Christ (Matthew 7:21-23).

Sr. Pastor Nick Ittzes is working toward membership in the Apostolic Network of Global Awakening and is a member of the Association of Free Lutheran Churches.

Our Sunday Services are at 9:45 A.M.  

Small groups are the mainstay of our ministry. People are empowered to do the works of ministry.

We pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon our county, nation, and world that changes lives and touches us not only in mind but also in body and soul. Like St. Paul, Martin Luther, Jonathan Edwards, and other great church leaders we depend on God to do the work we need among us (Eph. 6:19-20).

We believe that the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19) requires parents to teach our children the Christian faith and life and to protect them from the lies of the devil. A solid Christian education with live teachers is costly. Although our staff and church make great financial sacrifices to keep our tuitions low, the cost is still prohibitive for many parents. 

We have recently joined F.A.S.T., Financial Assistance for Student Tuition. This professional organization recommends tuition assistance amounts to families, based on need. This is an exciting, new development for C.O.S., and will allow us to give financial relief in an even-handed manner. If you are interested in this new program, please click on the above FAST link. Seeking revival in our school.

We are praying for the revival that is beginning in our congregation to be extended to our school. We believe that our children ought to graduate with the power of the Spirit active and evident in their lives, and that their influence on the world cannot rest merely on a well-informed intellect. Paul said, "... my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God" (1Cor. 2:4-5).
